Archiecomfortedherwiththenovelremarkthatitwasalwaysbesttotellthetruth,andmadeherquitecheerfulbypromisingtohealthebreachwithCharlieassoonaspossible.
Hekepthiswordsowellthattheverynextafternoon,asRoselookedoutofthewindow,shebeheldthejoyfulspectacleofArchieandPrincecominguptheavenue,arm-in-arm,asofold,talkingawayasiftomakeupfortheunhappysilenceofthepastweeks.
