Clayton,meanwhile,hadthrownhimselfoffhishorse,andcutthecordswhichboundFatherDicksontothetree.Thesuddenreactionoffeelingovercamehim.Hefell,fainting.
"Areyounotashamedofyourselves?"saidClayton,indignantlyglancinground."Isn'tthisprettybusinessforgreat,strongmenlikeyou,abusingministersthatyouknowwon'tfight,andwomenandchildrenthatyouknowcan't!"
